Zinke Lies to Press About Endorsement Of White Supremacist

Press Release

Date: Oct. 28, 2016

Congressman Ryan Zinke lied to a Montana newspaper about his endorsement of white supremacist and Montana legislative candidate Taylor Rose.

The Hungry Horse News yesterday published a story detailing Rose's involvement with a white supremacist group. In that story, Congressman Zinke's campaign denies endorsing Taylor Rose.

However, Congressman Zinke and Taylor Rose have issued joint campaign literature. The literature includes a quote from the Congressman stating, "I need you to send great leaders like Taylor Rose to Helena."

"From getting fact-checked in multiple Congressional debates to lying about endorsing a white supremacist, Congressman Zinke clearly has a problem with the truth," said Les Braswell, communications director for Denise Juneau. "Congressman Zinke needs to apologize for lying to Montanans throughout the campaign and withdraw his continued support for candidates who undermine Montana values."
